Dr. JTDr. J.T. ROBERTS O.D.

Dr. J.T. Roberts is the owner and founder of Kilgore Eye Care Center. He practices therapeutic optometry and provides full scope primary eye care. He is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist by the Texas Optometry Board and the National Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry.

Dr.Roberts graduated with honors from Henderson High School in 1968. Then entered Kilgore College and graduated with an Associate of Science degree in 1970. In 1972 he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches with a Bachelor of Science degree. Then in 1976 Dr. Roberts graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry with Doctor of Optometry degree.

Dr. Roberts is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, Southwest Council of Optometry, Contact Lens Section of the AOA, Deans Council of the University of Houston College of Optometry, and National Eye Research Foundation. He is also a member and has served two terms as president of the East Texas Optometric Society.Dr. Roberts is also actively involved in the Kilgore community and service organizations.

Dr. ShiloeDr. Shiloh S. Roberts O.D.

Dr. Shiloh Roberts is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. She provides full scope primary eye care, treatment of eye disease and contact lens fitting.

Dr. Roberts graduated from Lone Grove High School in 1999. In 2003 she earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Dr. Roberts graduated in 2007 with her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.

While a student at NSUOCO, Dr. Roberts was the recipient of the NSUOCO Clinical Excellence Award, the Pheiffer Award for Practice Management Research, the Women in Optometry Scholarship, 2006 TRIAD Third Year Pathology Award, the 2005 Optometric Student Association Outstanding Member Award, a member of Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, NSU Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa, Women in Optometry and graduated Summa cum laude.

Her professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Section of the AOA.

Dr. JadieDr. Jadie B. Roberts O.D.

Dr. Jadie B Roberts is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. He provides full scope primary eye care, treatment of eye disease and contact lens fitting.

Dr. Roberts graduated from Kilgore High School in 1999. In 2003 he earned a bachelor’s degree in movement science from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Roberts graduated in 2007 with his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. While a student at NSUOCO, Dr. Roberts served as third and fourth year Class President.

His professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Section of the AOA.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Shiloh Roberts and their new son Bolton. When not working he loves snowboarding, wakeboarding, golf, traveling and spending time with their three dogs Tucker, Boone and Momo.

Dr. Roberts was voted Best Optometrist in Kilgore for 2011 and 2012.

Dr. Alex Reed is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. He provides full scope primary eye care, treatment of eye disease and contact lens fitting.

Dr. Reed graduated from Lyons High School in 2005 in Lyons, KS. In 2009 he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Dr. Reed graduated in 2013 with his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. While a student at UHCO, Dr. Reed was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, the Optometric Student Association Social Chairman, and a teacher’s assistant for the optometry clinic procedures and ophthalmic optics courses. Dr. Reed was awarded the most outstanding teacher’s assistant award for the 2012-2013 school year.

His professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

When not working, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
